About the Program

Our program runs over 8 weeks, with one class per week (approximately 1 hour).
Each session focuses on real-life kitchen and safety skills while building confidence and collaboration. Classes are capped at 10 students to ensure every child gets hands-on experience and one-on-one guidance.

We supply all tools, ingredients, and safety materials — the school simply provides the space.

Students receive a recipe kit for the session, and families can optionally purchase a take-home kitchen kit
 

Classes are most often held during lunch recess, but we also accommodate before- or after-school blocks.

We work directly with each school to fit seamlessly into their existing timetable and ensure the program runs smoothly for both staff and students.

Bilingual Programs (ENG/FR)

At Made By Me!, we proudly serve both French and English schools, offering a fully bilingual program that bridges language and learning through food.

Each session is designed to be flexible — allowing us to teach in English, French, or a combination of both, depending on your school’s needs and student population.

All program materials — including recipes, safety sheets, take-home guides, and reward charts — are available in both languages, so students can confidently follow along and take their learning home.

Our bilingual instructors are comfortable switching between languages to ensure every child feels included and supported, no matter their language level or background.

Mini Chef Challenge & Beyond

Celebrating skills, creativity, and teamwork.

Each 8-week program concludes with our Mini Chef Challenge, where students apply what they’ve learned in a fun, friendly, and collaborative cooking activity.

This final class encourages teamwork, time management, and creativity as students work together to prepare a meal or dish using the techniques they’ve developed.

It’s a proud moment for every participant — and a meaningful way for schools to showcase experiential learning and student engagement.

Many schools choose to celebrate this class with photos, certificates, or small tasting events for staff and families.
